After a year away from Recommended by, filled with new experiences and exciting challenges, we are happy to welcome Matilda Kinghed back! With a background in social work, recruitment and HR at both the Police and fast-growing companies, she has gathered a unique expertise in recruitment, process development and strategic HR work. Now, she looks forward to combining these experience with our growth journey and helping both us and our clients develop. 

Over the past years, she has worked with a variety of companies and challenges – from setting up recruitment processes and HR strategies to managing layoffs and change management. As People and Organizational Developer at Keen, she took on an even broader role, overseeing internal structures, HR systems, sales and business development. It was a valuable experience where she gained a comprehensive view of what it takes to build a successful company. 

“The best thing about working in recruitment is that it opens doors to so many other parts of the company. You put on organization under the microscope – what does our employer branding look like? Do we have the right structures in place? Can we do things smarter and more sustainably?” Says Matilda. 

Returning to Recommended by feels like a natural next step. Matilda looks forward to combining her experience with the compnay’s growth journey – both by strengthening internal processes and helping clients succeed with their HR strategies.

One of the key lessons she brings with her is the importance of patience and trusting the process. In recruitment, sales and business development, immediate results are rare – but long-term efforts create lasting impact over time. 

“This is not an ‘instant result’ industry. You have to trust that what you do today will bear fruit in the future. I even got ‘trust the process’ tattooed for that very reason”. 

Over the coming year, Matilda aims to strengthen Recommended by’s position as a leading partner in recruitment and HR strategy. She wants clients to feel FOMO – that they don’t want to miss the opportunity to work with us.  

“The goal is to have a steady flow of new inquiries and to work on truly exciting projects where we can help companies become ‘Recommended by’.”

Outside of work, you’ll find Matilda on the tennis court, where she recently started playing – inspired by being exceptionally good at Playstation tennis game. In her free time, she also loves sewing, building things and diving into DIY projects that often end up being more advanced than planned.
